I loved staying at this hotel! The location is perfect, with the subway station just a 5-minute walk away and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The room was small but very clean, and I appreciated all the amenities like the trouser press and fluffy towels. The staff were friendly, informative and made check-in a breeze. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of both western and Japanese options, and the croissants were to die for.

The room supposedly designated as non-smoking had a faint smell of smoke. the hotel is located in an area that could be considered a red-light district, so it may not be everyone's preferred location.

The big screen TV with free movie pass was a nice bonus. the location of the hotel was great for exploring the city with easy access to public transportation and key tourist spots.

The hotel was also generous with amenities, providing extras like hair ties and shower caps. Despite some minor drawbacks such as small rooms and a lack of atmospheric lighting, we would still recommend Apa Hotel Nagoya-Sakae Higashi for its attentive staff, comfortable rooms, and convenient location.
